MTT Introduces Equipment to Oilfield

LAGCOE, the LA/Gulf Coast Oil Expo, set as debut of MTT designed turbine-powered frac pumps and blenders in March of 2007. MTT attended the trade show in Lafayette, LA as co-exhibitors with their partners, Turbine Stimulation Technologies (TST) and Hub City Industries (HCI). As LAGCOE was the first public display of MTT's innovative oilfield and well stimulation products, there was a great deal of excitement within the industry, and the reaction was even better than expected.

Turbine STREETFIGHTER on Exhibit

Photograph provided by www.Bikeland.org
Legend of the Motorcycle - the first world-class Concourse d'Elegance exclusively for motorcycles - invited MTT to appear and participate in its 2007 event in Half Moon Bay, CA at the gorgeous Ritz Carlton overlooking the Pacific Ocean. By special invitation, MTT prominently displayed the Turbine STREETFIGHTER (TM) for "Exhibition Only".

All other bikes were there for some serious judging. It was amazing to see bikes almost 90-years old driving up the ramp to receive their award. At the conclusion of the event, MTT participated in a 45-mile rally that drove through the mountains of Santa Cruz. It was rewarding to see so many antique bikes join the ride.

New Machine Shop

MTT acquires Pinnacle Machine Shop of New Iberia, LA.  Pinnacle had a long-standing history of high-quality machining due to their impressive inventory of cutting-edge equipment, including CNC cutters, lathes, and mills, gear hobbs, shapers, water jet, shears, breaks, metal saws, presses, grinders, and numerous additional manual and automated machines.  MTT is happy to have added this machine shop to our Franklin Division, ensuring 100% in-house capability and overall quality-control of production from start to finish, resulting in shorter lead-times and better customer pricing.  The new shop compliments MTT's full fabrication weld shop and production shop, electrical shop, digital control design center, full paint shop, turbine rotor balance, and dyno testing.
